How to spend a quarantine as a surfer

 

We are going through uncertain times and most of us are spending a long time at home. We know this situation is specially hard for surfers as we love spending time outside. From Wavy Surf Camp we want to face this situation from a positive point of view. We certainly know this is just temporary! This is why we would like to give you some tips to liven up these days.

1. Create a rutine:

Make yourself a timetable. Set a time to wake up, work, time for read and leisure. Set the times and make sure you fulfill them. Routine will make these days go faster.

Remember why you are doing all this effort. We are doing this so the situation passes. Soon you will be back in the ocean surfing the waves. Experts have assure this situation is just temporary and if we do it right we will get back to normal soon.

2. EXERCISE:

Introduce exercise in your routine. We are suggesting some workouts through Instagram that you can easily do at home. This will help keeping you fit for surfing. Work your legs, core and arms. Try to do a bit of cardio as well.

3. PRACTISE YOGA OR MEDITATION:

This is very good for working on your breath and straighten your muscles.

4. MAKE PLANS FOR LATER:

Plan a trip, a friends encounter, a surf adventure…Take advantage of the cancelation policies that travel companies are giving at the moment and make your travel plans for when this has passed. Visualize yourself surfing and making all those awesome plans!

5. EDUCATE YOURSELF AND ORGANIZE YOUR WORK

Think how you want to organize your work like later. Make a plan and a strategy now that you have time.
