Bliss Balls: The best surf snack
Surfing consumes a lot of energy. That is why it is a good idea to bring some snacks with you to the beach. Especially if you plan to do more than one session.
Finding the perfect snack can be a bit tricky sometimes. You need something that doesn’t spoil easily, easy to carry, plus gives you extra energy.
You can find all the above in the bliss balls, made with dates and nuts of your choice! The best of all is that it only takes 10 minutes to prepare them.
Here is the recipe:
INGREDIENTS:
-10 pitted dates
-1 tsp chia seeds
-75 g pecan nuts or walnuts
-1 tbs coconut oil
-1 tbs cacao powder
-Dissected coconut
PREPARATION
- Mix all the ingredients with a blender.
- Clean your hands and make balls. You should get about 10 balls. Cover the balls with the dissected coconut.
- Leave them in the fridge for 30 min to get better consistency.
