What people think about Wavy Surf Camp?
Before you join a surf camp I bet you might wonder. What does people think about the place? Is it worth it to go? How will I feel? The best way to answer those questions is to ask people who already have been to the place. So let´s see what they say in these interviews!
-What’s the highlight from your stay at wavy?
Ingrid: “Oeeh difficult because I had multiple highlights at wavy. In case of surfing; my highlight was surfing my first huge green wave ever!! This was at my second week Wavy. Yes, i went twice this year And the last party on Saturday which was the end of the season was also a lot of fun.”
Franzi: “The whole 2 weeks were the highlight! You do so many cool things with super lovely people. Just enjoyed and living life fullest! (So I guess the lifestyle was my highlight and to get out of my comfort zone)”
Kika: “Definitely lovely people I met and also the overall experience (sleeping under the tent, surf classes, evening programs etc. which felt like summer camp when I was a kid)”
–Did you travel solo or with friends? How did you feel with the other people at the camp?
Melina: “I travelled solo & would do it again for sure. It’s a great way to connect with other people because you are more open for it if you don’t have to focus on your friends or travelbuddies. The people I met there (including the staff) are people I wanna be surrounded by and we had a fantastic time together.”
Ingrid: “My first week Wavy I traveled Solo. In the beginning this was a bit scary but going to Wavy by yourself is really no big deal. There were so many solo travelers and we were one big group the second time Wavy (in October) I went with a friend of mine”
Alexandro: “I travel with my brother and that helps a lot to strengthen our relationship. The people was really great! All you guys were my favourites! So happy that i find so many friends from all around the world.”
-Which advice would you give to other people who is coming to the camp?
Franzi: I would definitely recommend going on this trip alone. You automatically become more open and get to know the people really well! A part from that – go with the flow! Don’t think too much – just do it and enjoy!
Melina: Pack warm clothes, it can get a bit chilly at night! And one week is not long enough, you better book two!
