2. VISIT BENAGIL CAVES
This stunning cave is located in Benagil, south Algarve. It looks like a cathedral in the middle of the sea. It will definitely take your breath away. You can reach it by swimming (if you are a good swimmer), kayak or boat.
3. LAGOS
This is a small town in south Algarve and it is very worth a visit. It is a combination of sea, nature and history. In the city center you can discover churches, castle walls and you can learn about the Portuguese history. Close to the ocean you can enjoy really nice snorkeling and swim in very beautiful beaches. Lagos has it all.
4. PRAIA DA ROCHA.
This beach is located in Portimão. It is such a nice place for surfing, snorkeling or just laying on the beach. It is a 1,5 km White sand beach. On one side of the beach you will find breathtaking cliffs while on the other side you can admire the “Santa Catalina Fort”.
5. SAN VICENTE CAPE
It is located 3kms away from Sagres. Some people consider it “the end” of Europe. The best way to enjoy this magical place is to come at sunset and watch it from the cape. I bet it will be one of the most spectacular sunsets you have ever watched. The views from the cliffs are breathtaking, watch the ocean crushing on the rocks and feel the power of nature.
6. NATURAL PARK “RIA FORMOSA”
This natural place is a dream for bird’s lovers. It is a 60 km wetland and it is home for many different bird species. It is also home for a wide range of animals and plants. The best way to visit the park is to jump on a boat and go all around it.
